Has there been any changes to loot spawn internal categories? --AnotherArk (talk) 15:57, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
heli crash[]
I think the heli crash detailed information should be moved to its own page. No other section of loot spot has that much detailNuke (talk) 00:22, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- You mean like http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/Helicopter_Crash_Sites? - Planky (talk) 02:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Pretty much, so why is all that same information on this page? Nuke (talk) 09:21, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
can somebody pls remove the books-category?--TheBlackDracula (talk) 18:40, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
new article design[]
i think we should drop these incorporated articles. they get way to big especially with all these list articles in them. better create extra articles for everything thats big enough and link then there. in this case i would remove the weapons, equipment etc from this page and simply link to them. any suggestions?--TheBlackDracula (talk)
not bad that design. goes well with the rest of the wiki, but we should use items for the main images, cause its loot and not locations. maybe on the left item images and on the right multiple pics of the typical spawn locations (2-3 small pics)--TheBlackDracula (talk)
Well I think its better to keep the location images because an item can fall under multiple loot categories. --Basinox (talk) 21:37, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
I would agree to Basinox' opinion, placing pics for the loot would result in a too large table, the text style would be interrupted and, as said, items occur in different loot categories, so images would be there twice or even more often. CaptainFriZZbee (talk) 05:12, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
Another problem is, that eg there CAN also be industrial loot in parts of residential houses, but this isnt mentioned in the table, maybe a 'notes' column wouldnt be bad. And I will continue working on the availible loot, the current information doesnt seem right to me compared with what i found ingame. CaptainFriZZbee (talk) 05:18, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
ok than maybe another table for the lootcategories below (food, clothing etc) and then there example pics of loot. also we should use a consistent colour code, im gonna look into that later today--TheBlackDracula (talk)
Farm loot[]
I don't think Farm's have their own loot category. Most of the loot that can be found in farms are home to the Residential/Civilian category. --Basinox (talk) 20:03, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
I think the loot availible in farms is similar to the residential and industrial loot, but there are minor differences. other types of clothing spawn there, the spawn probability of the mosin and the izh43 are much higher than in other categories, canned goods dont spawn there, as well as most of the melee and blunt melee weapons. CaptainFriZZbee (talk) 10:44, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
generally farm spawns have a higher chance for melee and main weapons--TheBlackDracula (talk)
Special[]
We should add the special category for the building that have their own unique loot spawn (Police centers, helicopter crash sites, etc)
those arent unique. police station is military, crash site is high end military etc--TheBlackDracula (talk)
Police stations and Police cars are the only locations that spawns the MP5-k and Helicopter crashes are the only location that spawns M4A1's and its attachments. while the items self should refer to the buildings but in the loot section I think the should have their own small section --Basinox (talk) 07:29, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
i thought mp5 also spawns in prisons--TheBlackDracula (talk)
Not as far as I'm informed and from what I have seen. found 5 mp5's in police centers/cars. none elsewhere yet (besides one that was on a dead player in experimental). --Basinox (talk) 15:55, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
