Tetracycline Pills, also known simply as antibiotics is a type of medicine in DayZ used to treat cholera, common cold, influenza and wound infection. One Tetracycline Pill has a duration of 5 minutes, meaning you have to retake one pill after that time.
You can stack the pills in your inventory.
TIP: Although you can not use two of the same pills at once to boost effectiveness, you can combine two different meds at the same time. For example, you can take Multivitamin Pills together with Tetracycline Pills, and they will both act on infections, though only one icon will appear on the player’s HUD.

- Prior to update 1.10, you could not combine the Tetracycline Pills in your inventory.
- NOTE: Tetracyline Pills will NOT cure stage 1 of a Wound Infection and will only work on the second stage.
