The Truck Battery is a vehicle component in DayZ. It is required for the M3S to function.
When used in a vehicle each engine start drains the battery by 1% (15/1500), this can be recharged while the vehicle is running or by using a Battery Charger.
Attaching Metal Wire will allow the battery to be be used to power base building elements directly such as the Construction Lights and the Xmas Lights.
If a Truck Battery is attached to a Vehicle, it's possible to use the Screwdriver to secure it in place.

Trivia[ | ]
- The Truck Battery was added in v0.58.129143 on 26th August 2015.
- Damaging the Truck Battery will lower its maximum energy capacity, with lower capacity the more damage a battery sustains.
