== General ==
Before the fall of [[Chernarus]], Vysotovo and its two sister projects were built to provide affordable housing to the denizens of Chernogorsk. In this regard, Vysotovo seems to have been the most populous residential area, being the location of a school, two grocery stores as well as many other lootable buildings.

As the town is located west of Chernogorsk proper, it is also incredibly close to the [[Balota Airstrip]] and the town of [[Balota]]. The hill to the southwest of the town offers a good view of the airstrip. There is also an [[Evacuation Site (Northern Chernogorsk)|evacuation site]] to the north of town.

Due to its own moderate level of loot and proximity to other locations known for their high activity levels, {{PAGENAME}} is not a safe place to spend much of your time.

* In real life Chapaevsk is a city in the Samara Oblast, Russia. Population 72,692. Its spelled Chapayevsk in English, but has the same spelling "Чапаевск" in Russian. It is known as the "town of death" due to the very high toxins present in it.
* A military prison used to be located in what was once Chapaevsk, similar to the one previously in [[Turovo Military Prison|Turovo]].
