Yasnaya Polyana (Russian: Ясная Поляна) is an area of snow-free lowlands in the middle of Sakhal's main island.
It is located south of Sakhalskaj GeoES, along the power lines that run south towards Nogovo. The area has several farmhouses and sheds scattered along a road, but there is no clear village structure. There is a water spring on a path in the south edge of the lowlands.
