The town of Zaprudnoe is located between Novaya Petrovka and Polesovo in the north of Chernarus.

In the shadow of the much larger town of Novaya Petrovka, Zaprudnoe boasts a sizable lake and quite a bit of agriculture-related infrastructure including barns and fields. The only buildings of note in the area are three civilian barracks in a compound east of town.
